The versatile layering piece you know you will reach for season after season. A classic V-neck “grandpa” cardigan with a perfectly roomy fit, thoughtful ribbed detailing, and contrasting horn buttons. Made from our new Sartuul wool, which comes from the downy coat of a rare nomadic Mongolian sheep, ANEMONE is a durable and pill-resistant knit. It will readily soften after a few days of wear, so after buying, we recommend giving it a few wears and a wash to help this process. Just like a good pair of shoes, after this brief break-in period, you will never want to be without it when the temperatures drop. We source our Sartuul from the Green Gold project, which helps protect the Mongolian steppe and provide a better income for the country’s traditional nomadic herders.
The ANEMONE has a slightly roomy fit with a shorter hip-length. It does run true to size, so we recommend choosing your regular size.
100% Sartuul wool, a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppe. The wool is sourced from the “Green Gold” project, a Swiss development program that organizes cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppe. The project helps herders preserve their traditional way of life through artisanal fiber production of heritage Mongolian breeds – like Sartuul and yak.
