Dechem

Dechem tells a sophisticated story about materials, traditional techniques and lyrical forms through their hand-made glass. Partners in both work and life, Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek founded Dechem studio in Prague in 2012.  Their work is based on contemporary design combined with a mastery of production inspired by a healthy respect for old Central European craft and traditions. They design, produce and sell a collection of exquisite decorative glassworks! One of the studio’s most successful products is the Bandaska collection of vases, first debuted in 2015. Dechem makes regular appearances in renowned, professional magazines, has exhibited in Milan in the Rosanna Orlandi gallery and has taken part in the London Design Festival. It is also a winner of the Czech Grand Design award.
