INDRESS was founded in Paris in 2001 by Dutch designer Wies Schulte with the desire to combine elegance, timeless shapes and vibrant colors. Its collections are based on exclusive dyes and carefully selected fabrics, including English flannel wool, Swiss organic cotton and French silk crepe and silk-lurex. Inspired by style rather than trends, the INDRESS wardrobe explores and revisits Parisian elegance through contemporary pieces that can be combined from one season to the next.
According to INDRESS founder and designer Wies Schulte, the allure is all about refined simplicity and lightness. A graduate of the Antwerp Fashion Academy, Wies moved to Paris in the 90s where she juggled a career in fashion for houses like Castelbajac and Kenzo and her own creative projects. In 2001, she launched INDRESS with the ambition to make women feel beautiful, confident and free. Wies' right hand, Maud Courault, is a French designer who has now been at her side for more than 14 years. INDRESS has always been an independent brand.
