WHY WE LOVE IT
The Tensira story originates in Africa, where in its namesake village in the Republic of Guinea. It is a unique expression of centuries-old Guinean know-how of weaving and indigo dying and Nordic design. Inspired to design a collection of sustainable home essentials while providing opportunities for the West African artisans who create them, Hamidou Diallo and Tuulia Makinen Diallo founded Tensira, a brand where traditional African craftsmanship and modern minimalist design intersect.
