This dress is made from an organic silk and lurex crepe woven in France by Les Tissages Perrin, a mill founded in 1929 near Lyon. The silk yarn is overdyed to create a subtle two-tone effect, giving it depth and radiance. The silhouette is enhanced by a deep neckline and an open back supported by a thin cord across the back of the neck. The wide armholes elegantly cover the upper-part of the shoulders. The straight shape of the dress is enhanced by a supple waistline with piping. The dress closes on the side with invisible snap buttons and features side seam pockets. A belt made in the same fabric is provided if you wish to tie the dress.
WHY WE LOVE IT
INDRESS was founded in Paris in 2001 by Dutch designer Wies Schulte with the desire to combine elegance, timeless shapes and vibrant colors. Its collections are based on exclusive dyes and carefully selected fabrics, including English flannel wool, Swiss organic cotton and French silk crepe and silk-lurex. Inspired by style rather than trends, the INDRESS wardrobe explores and revisits Parisian elegance through contemporary pieces that can be combined from one season to the next.
