The top is made entirely from Alashan cashmere, which is said to be the highest quality. Alashan cashmere is made from the soft downy hairs grown to survive the midwinter cold of harsh climatic conditions. The yarn made from these fibers was knotted slowly over along period of time, in 18 gauge, using the best technology and the highest attention to detail.
