Beautiful Swirls

The creator of Beautiful Swirls is Kira Leihe, a ceramicist based in Oakland, California. They offer a variety of ceramic pieces such as bowls, teapots, colanders, planters, mugs, and ceramic watercolor palettes. They work primarily with clay, creating both hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics, all functional works that are simultaneously small pieces of art. As a small batch potter they enjoy spending time on each piece, deliberating over the design choices that are calling out to them as if they ate solving a puzzle. It's a beautiful process, and they love that they are able to give each piece a unique personality that way. It is their hope that their ceramics will bring joy to their users, while serving their purpose well.
